Product Owner
Key Responsibilities
As a Product Owner, you will define and solve problems as a product leader with the mission of driving transaction costs across the entire renewable energy value chain toward zero.
You will be responsible for operating VOLT, a renewable energy Attribute Tracking System, and planning related projects through both domestic and international government-funded programs.
Upon joining, you will work on the following responsibilities:
1. Project & Business Management
Plan and develop proposals for government-funded projects
Establish project schedules and manage milestones
Plan, manage, and control project budgets
Respond to interim reviews and final evaluations of government-funded projects
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
2. Product Management
Analyze user requirements and write user stories
Manage the product backlog and define priorities
Plan product screens and define UI/UX direction
Create Jira tickets and manage sprints
Lead product implementation in collaboration with development and design teams
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service planning or as a PM/PO (required)
Hands-on experience managing government-funded projects (required)
Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt
Experience writing requirement documents such as user stories and PRDs
Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience in project schedule and budget management
Strong logical thinking and structured documentation skills
Ability to collaborate smoothly with diverse stakeholders (design, development, CX, partnerships, etc.)
Self-motivated with a strong drive for continuous learning across multiple domains
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as an early member of a startup with a 0→1 product launch
PM experience in government programs such as TIPS or Startup Growth Technology Development projects
Experience delivering public-sector projects in SI or agency environments
Experience as a PO in Agile/Scrum environments
Data-driven decision-making experience (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics)
Strong interest in climate tech (energy, environment, etc.)
Interest in solving social and environmental problems
